About WebBizBlog.com

GabrielWho is creating WebBizBlog.com?

Gabriel, born ‘77, having fun with and inside the web since last millenium! ;)

Some years ago I set up my own web development business aimed at small & medium sized companies, which means we mainly do: web design, CMS creation and -customization, web programming, site maintenance, blog , shop customization, online marketing and so on.

When I chose the route of self-employment 5 years ago, the web looked a little different then: neither AdSense nor AdWords (now an essential part of the work of many web workers). Even most of the now well known blogs didn’t exist at that time.

Professionalization of the Selfmade WebBiz

Today the self publishing scene has got much more professional, there is a much higher media penetration, there are blog networks, probloggers, fake blogs, paid blogging and lots of other ways to do online publishing of niche specific content. Especially for smaller publisher and networks the new possibilities are a blessing. Not everything does make sense, not everything is created to stay, but it’s indeed a fascinating development.

Without the claim of wholeness, WebBizBlog.com reports according to its name - of course - about ideas to make money on the web, and covers mainly these “WebBiz topics”:

  • Creation and marketing of web projects
  • Tools and services needed for online publishing
  • Earning money through affiliate programs
  • Marketing offers through PayPerClick-Campaigns
  • Tipps & ideas for compelling copywriting
  • Selling of goods and information on the web
  • Legal standards regarding web publishing
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Optimization (SMO)

If you are interested in one or more of these topics, you may want to subscribe to the WebBizBlog.com RSS feed, which then will inform you about new entries here.
